Now you see me

Now you see me when I succeed,

When I am at the top.

Now you see me when I stand tall,

When nobody else had done it before.

Now you notice me, when I have "worth"

But, you know what? I've always been worthy.

I've already succeeded,

I've already been at the top,

The thing is, I wasn't meeting your expectations,

and I felt like I was a step behind you,

But I've never been there.

And now, it's not just that you see me, you see me free,

Free of fear, 

Free of the burden of pleasing others and hating myself,

Free of the blame.

Finally, the show is over, and the curtains are down.

All the tears have cleansed my eyes and my soul,

all the anger has set my free,

and now, now you see me,

but most importantly, I see me,

I really see me.
